SÄZ - Schweizerische Ärztezeitung
The SÄZ is the official organ of the FMH and deals with current health topics relevant to the profession. It will be published monthly from September 2025 and ten times a year from 2026, with a circulation of 47,000 copies and a reach of 95% of the Swiss medical profession.
FMH - Swiss Medical Association
The FMH is the professional association of Swiss doctors and the umbrella organisation of over 90 medical organisations. It represents over 46,000 members. The General Secretariat with over 100 employees coordinates the operational and strategic-political level and serves as a link to the public.
New editor-in-chief for the SÄZ
The SÄZ will now be edited and published by the FMH, with external journalists supplementing the editorial team. Organisations and institutions as well as other authors are invited to submit texts that are relevant to everyday medical practice. An editorial committee reviews the submissions and decides on their publication. Charlotte Schweizer and Matthias Scholer are co-editors-in-chief. Both have many years of media experience and have accompanied the SÄZ in various functions over many years.

The SÄZ reaches 95% of the Swiss medical profession and is the official publication of the FMH and the FMH Services Cooperative. Known as the "yellow magazine", it deals with professional and health policy issues and contains specialist medical articles, professional information for doctors and other medical topics relevant to the target groups. With a variety of formats and focal points, it appeals specifically to the heterogeneous readership and offers a platform for advertisements.
